Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST®) is a renowned technique created and developed by Ann and Chris Frederich in Arizona, U.S.A. 30 years ago. There are a large number of practitioners in the U.S.A. and FST® is now growing significantly in Australia as clients realise the real benefits of treatments.
Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds, support and connects skin, muscles, tendons, organs and all structure in the body. It is a network of collagen fibers crucial to maintaining structural integrity. It plays a significant role in the body’s mechanics and can influence posture, movement and overall health.
Mat Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on core strength, flexibility, and toning through a series of floor-based exercises performed on a mat, using dynamic stretching and controlled movements.
Our small group Pilates classes are a combination of myofascial release exercises, improvement of core strength, spine, pelvis and joint stability and static stretch.
